- The Government of Canada has confirmed a $3.6M investment supporting wind energy researchers from the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles. The project focuses on better integration of renewable energy and energy storage in remote areas. (available in French only)
- The Société de chemin de fer de la Gaspésie has obtained a contract to transport about 600 wind turbine blades from LM Wind Power to the Central United States over the next year. This agreement will create around ten part-time jobs. (available in French only)
