- Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited will open a casino and entertainment complex in Wasaga Beach, creating approximately 400 jobs
- Longo Brothers Fruit Markets Inc. is opening Canada's first energy efficient 'net-zero supermarket' in Stouffville. The 40,000-sq.-ft. store will use 35% less energy than average and produce 65% of its own energy.
- Bélanger Construction Ltd. will begin the first phase of construction on the $30M Place des Arts Francophone arts centre in Sudbury this month. It is expected to be completed in 2020, creating 180 construction jobs.
- More than $26M in construction projects are underway in the City of Belleville including a new police station, the Arabella Retirement Living residences and the Hastings County Home for Good affordable housing complex
- Delta Hotels by Marriott Thunder Bay is set to open in December 2018. The eight-storey hotel will include a restaurant, a lounge, 149 guest rooms and 6,500-sq.-ft. of meeting space.
