Position and adjust dies on anvil of forging machinery; Position heated or cooled metal pieces on die of press or other forging machinery; Operate presses or other forging machines to perform hot or cold forging to shape or form metal; Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment; Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications; Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products; Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
