Membership in the Canadian Psychological Association; Provincial or territorial Psychologist's Certificate of Registration

Experience

5 years or more

Specific Skills
Provide consultation services to government and other organizations; Examine and assess behaviour to diagnose behavioural, emotional and cognitive disorders; Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops or symposia; Apply psychological theory and principles regarding behaviour and mental processes; Provide therapy; Administer standard psychological tests for assessment; Interpret test results; Help clients manage physical illness and disorders

Supervise graduate students, research assistants, para-professional staff and other psychologists; Perform administrative tasks; Maintain accurate records
