Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions; Position heated or cooled metal pieces on die of press or other forging machinery; Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment; Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications; Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines; Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs; Document work completed; Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products
Metal Forming or Shaping Operations Experience
Punching; Cutting machine
Equipment and Machinery Experience
Power presses; Overhead crane; Lifting device; Hand tools; Drills; Computer numerical control (CNC) machines; Micrometers
Weight Handling
Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Work Setting
Sheet metal shop; Platework manufacturing company; Metal product fabrication industry
