Job requirements




College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
or equivalent experience


1 year to less than 2 years

Specific Skills
Prepare or supervise preparation of rock, mineral or metal samples; Prepare notes, sketches, geological maps and cross sections; Conduct or direct surveys or survey programs
Area of Work Experience
Scientific data processing; Instrument development; Field sampling and data acquisition; Environmental monitoring; Data interpretation and evaluation
Computer Systems
Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment; Geographic Information System (GIS); MS Office
