Join us as we work together to build the undisputed global packaging leader.</span></p><p><span>The Role</span></p><p><span>The </span><span>Forklift Operator</span><span> will be responsible for safe handling of all duties to include keeping work area free from debris and clutter with no trip hazards. Area must be clean & well-organized while applying Good Manufacturing Practices. Responsible for duties relating to the warehouse such as receiving, shipping good, storage and transfers of goods. Efficiently performing all Receiving and Shipping responsibilities. Managing a 24 </span><span>hr</span><span>/day shipping, receiving and warehouse operation, coordinating inbound and outbound trucks. Proper documentation including Bill of Ladings, chemicals, packaging components, maintenance, office & janitorial and safety supplies. Maintaining accurate inventory counts. Managing pallet inventories and other warehouse supplies. Ensuring that all forklifts are operating and maintained properly.</span></p><p><span>Other </span><span>Forklift Operator</span><span> responsibilities include inspecting of forklifts are performed daily ensuring forklifts are fully charged or have </span><span>sufficient</span><span> water depending on the type of forklift.</span><span> </span><span> Properly maintain and coordinate warehouse system efficiently and effectively. </span><span>Ensure security by having exterior doors locked at all times</span><span> and report any suspicious activities to management. Monitoring storage of waste and recycling bins and levels and inform management when additional service is required. Working with SQF Practitioner to develop and implement optimum standard operating procedures. Attend regular forklift training seminars for re-certification as instructed by the SQF practitioner. This position is not limited to other duties as needed by the Shift Supervisor, Production Manager or the Plant Manager.<br><br></span></p><p><span>The Requirements</span></p><p><span>To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:</span></p><ul><li><span>Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operators? License.</span></li><li><span>Experience with driving a forklift for at least 2 years is preferred.</span></li><li><span>High School Diploma or equivalent. </span><span> </span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Familiar with receiving and shipping documentation. Working knowledge of shipping documentation is preferred.</span></li><li><span>Communicates effectively (reads, writes and speaks English at an advanced level); some basic knowledge of arithmetic.</span></li><li><span>Ability to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds frequently.
