<h3>Job Description</h3><div><p>Within Nalco, a division of Ecolab, we have an opportunity for a 12 month contract Warehouse Operator. In this role, you will be responsible to pick, stage and put away all materials in a timely manner. You will be responsible to safely load and unload trucks. You may also be responsible for the intra-plant supply of raw materials from the warehouse to production and back, as well as all finished good movements from production to the warehouse. You will need good computer skills as you will update SAP transactions accurately to manage raw materials and finished goods in terms of quantity and location. The responsibilities of the <strong>Warehouse Operator</strong> in the Logistics Department may vary based on job assignment distribution other logistics support roles within the department. <br /> <br /><strong>What's in it For You:</strong></p><ul><li>The opportunity to take on some of the world's most meaningful challenges, helping customers achieve clean water, safe food, abundant energy and healthy environments</li><li>The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth</li><li>The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives and ideas to achieve our best</li></ul><p><strong>What You Will Do:</strong> </p><ul><li>Manually picks full-case orders and stacking them onto pallets using a scanner/tablet</li><li>Ensures proper staging and identification once an order has been completely picked</li><li>Uses various pieces of equipment (manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, reach truck, and propane lift) to move pallets</li><li>Verifies quantities, quality of items and proper labeling of products that are being shipped</li><li>Examines all packaging and contents of items for conformance to customer specifications and verifies all information against the packing list and SAP</li><li>Coordinates with other departments such as customer service, production, instant and small pack</li><li>Shipping box assembly and induction for packing</li><li>Shipping label preparation and application</li><li>Trailer loading and unloading of packed boxes and pallets</li><li>Identifies items with a quantity discrepancy and promptly communicates with Supervisor and/or Lead</li><li>Maintains the 5S cleanliness of the picking area and pulls completed shrink-wrapped orders to the dock for LTL packers</li><li>Follows all safety procedures and policies</li><li>Follow all warehouse procedures and policies</li></ul><p><strong>This position is located in Burlington and works </strong><strong>Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. Some overtime and may be required. Potential rotating shifts may be required as needed. </strong></p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong>: </p><ul><li>High school diploma or G.E.D. required</li><li>1-2 years experience in plant or warehouse</li><li>Must be able to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations</li><li>Must be able to follow both written and verbal directions</li><li>Experience safely driving a counter balance Fork Truck.</li><li>Capable of learning and applying computer skills (SAP experience an asset</li><li>Fork truck training and certification, TDG certificate, WHMIS certification, First Aid certification are an asset</li><li>Proof of Covid -19 vaccinations will be required as a condition of employment</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to lift and carry 50lbs</li><li>Fork truck operation</li><li>Frequent and varied computer work.</li><li>Fast paced environment.</li><li>Some outside work in all weather conditions.</li><li>Inside work may involve large receiving doors open to the elements</li></ul></div><h3>Company Description</h3><div>A trusted partner at nearly three million customer locations, Ecolab is the global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services.
