<h3>Job Description</h3><div><p>We are looking for a <em>Shipper</em> in <em>Concord</em> for one of our clients. Our client is part of the Plastics Product Manufacturing Industry established since 2009. Moreover, our client is also minority certified custom injection molder with machines ranging from 60 to 2700 US tons.</p><p><strong><em>Roles & Responsibilities:</em></strong></p><p>• Remove finished goods from warehouse based on pick list while maintaining FIFO methodology</p><p>• Ensure safe speed is always maintained</p><p>• Always drive backwards when vision is blocked by materials being moved</p><p>• Do not move skids that are 4 high</p><p>• Stage the required shipment and ensure that shipment match shipping documentation</p><p>• Ensure that all shortages are communicated to shipping Coordinator immediately</p><p>• Remove Internal KANBAN labels from customer bins and replace them with customer specific shipping labels, DO NOT MIX LABLES / BINS</p><p>• Ensure the trailer is docked correctly and the dock lock is engaged before driving into the trailer.</p><p>• Load the shipment safely & securely into respective trailer in a timely manner</p><p>• Ensure that loaded shipment match shipping documentation</p><p>• Ensure that all incoming shipments are received in good order and are moved to allocated lanes while maintain FIFO</p><p>• Any damaged material that is received, a picture is to be taken and shipping coordinator is to notify immediately.</p><p>• Shrink wrap or strap shipments as directed / required</p><p>• Charge electric forklifts at least 4 - 5 times a shift</p><p>• Perform forklift safety checklist before driving the forklift, Safety checklist must be completed if a forklift is changed during the shift.</p><p>• Adhere all company policies and procedures.</p><p>• Perform other duties assigned by reporting manager</p><p> </p><p><strong><em>Quality, 5S and Safety:</em></strong></p><p>• Ensure that forklifts are maintained in safe & clean running condition</p><p>• Ensure the safe operation of forklift throughout the plant specially in Shipping & Receiving area</p><p>• Perform daily inspections checklist on the forklift</p><p>• Operate the Forklift safely throughout the plant</p><p>• Ensure that warehouse is always organized and tidy,</p><p> </p><p><strong><em>Qualifications:</em></strong></p><p>• 1-year related experience as a shipper/receiver or material handler.</p><p>• Successful completion of lift truck safety course.</p><p>• Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent</p><p> </p><p><strong><em>Skills:</em></strong></p><p>• Organizational skills.</p><p>• Good communication skills</p><p>• Basic Math, English, Reading and Writing.</p><p>• Good understanding of IATF 16949 & ISO 14001 procedures for process controls</p><p> </p><p><strong><em>Schedule:</em></strong></p><p>• 8 hours shift</p><p>• Monday to Friday</p><p> </p><p><em><strong>Shifts Available:</strong></em> Afternoon and Night</p><p> </p><p><strong><em>TYPE</em></strong>: Full Time</p><p><strong><em>PAY</em></strong>: $ 17.50/hr-</p></div>- LocationScarborough, ON
