Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): 4th Period Apprentice. 1st Period Apprentice. 2nd Period Apprentice. 3rd Period Apprentice. Plumber Red Seal Certificate. Plumber Trade Certification. Experience: No experience. Work Setting: Residential. Specific Skills: Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size. Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors. Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings. Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges. Own Tools/Equipment: Tools. Safety equipment/gear. Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Work Site Environment: Confined spaces. Wet/damp. Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Hand-eye co-ordination. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Work Location Information: Various locations. Personal Suitability: Effective interpersonal skills. Team player. Health benefits: Health care plan. Dental plan.
