*Are you looking for extra shifts? Part time (36 hrs)? Can travel? * You must be available for all shifts. *Vehicle is a must.* Are office is based in the Hamilton area but we are looking for Niagara area. This position requires a licensed Security Guard with a valid first aid certificate. *Site: Guard is posted at a main desk and monitor cameras and access control systems.* *Security responds to fire alarms and mechanical issues.* *Replace and maintains access swipe cards* *Security issues visitor badges and parking passes* *Controls access to the loading dock* *Directs visitors to the appropriate office* * *Good communicator and decision maker Being able to multi-task, present a positive attitude, sometimes work alone and also in a team atmosphere are strengths that you have already developed with your work experience.* * Your security and customer focused experience will allow you to transition into this post with ease. How you present yourself and represent yourself to GSS, the client, their employees, contractors, customers, and visitors is paramount to this position. * Simplified Task List: *Checking and securing all vehicles entering, *Monitoring all unauthorized entry or access to restricted areas, Recording deliveries and cars *Report writing, emailing and record keeping * * Potential Health and Safety Issues * *Illegal Activity on property *Theft and Vandalism *Fire Watch *Customer Service and Promotion of the client * *Your ability to read, write, report and think critically, while on "your feet", will serve you well and allow you to succeed. * * *Your attention to detail is how you show professional maturity. You must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard license, WHMIS 2015 certification, valid Drivers License, valid First Aid certificate and have some level of customer service knowledge.* Job Types: Part-time, Casual Part-time hours: 36 per week Salary: $17.00-$17.50 per hour Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 12 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Holidays * Monday to Friday * Night shift * On call * Weekend availability Experience: * Customer service: 3 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Security Guard Licence (required) * Driving Licence (required) * First Aid Certification (required) Shift availability: * Day Shift (preferred) * Night Shift (preferred)- LocationNiagara Falls, ON
