The successful applicant will enjoy a competitive salary, medical and dental benefits, a defined benefit pension plan, relocation privileges, and opportunities for training and career advancement.</p><p>Based in <strong>Iqaluit, NU,</strong> and reporting to the Manager, Solutions Delivery, you will be responsible for the design, installation, testing, optimization and administration of all Government of Nunavut (GN) applications and databases within the solution delivery network environment. This will include all GN departmental software and applications that reside on Microsoft, Oracle, MYSQL and other proprietary databases. As an <strong>Applications Analyst,</strong> you will also be tasked with establishing standards and guidelines related to GN software, applications and databases.</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><p><strong>Your profile as a qualified Application Analyst will include the following highlights:</strong></p><ul><li>A recognized Diploma in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or a related engineering program.</li><li>Seven (7) years of recent experience in large (over 2,000 users' network) complex enterprise-wide networks with diverse solutions from multiple vendors.</li><li>Five (5) years of progressive experience in physical and virtual desktop hardware, operating systems, software and applications support in a medium to large enterprise or government network environment.</li><li>Current vendor certifications such as Microsoft, SQL, Oracle and MYSQL.</li><li>Acceptable combinations of education and experience may be considered for this position.
