Post-secondary diploma, degree or <span class="long-word">courses/certificates</span> in book keeping and/or accounting</p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><p>Dental Care, Extended Health Care, Paid Time off</p><p><strong>Full Job Description</strong></p><p><strong>Job title</strong> - <span class="long-word">Controller/Bookkeeper</span></p><p><strong>Location</strong> - Lakefield / Selwyn Ontario</p><p> </p><p><strong>Duties include but not limited to</strong>:</p><p>Handling accounts payables and receivable.</p><p>Manage preparation of payroll for staff.</p><p>Preparing day and month end budgeting and reporting.</p><p>Prepare year end reports for accountants.</p><p>Dealing with CRA and preparing HST submissions.</p><p>Overseeing human resources and staying up to date with human resource trends.</p><p>Manage and assist with group benefit package</p><p> </p><p><strong>Background and Experience</strong></p><p>Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting procedures and cost control systems.</p><p>Advanced knowledge of computer operating systems and software such as Excel, Outlook.</p><p>Knowledge of APD Lightspeed DMS would be an asset.</p><p>A willingness to learn a new software and operating systems.</p><p>Self-motivated and adaptable. Ability to work independently and within a group environment.</p><p>Be able to reliably commute to Lakefield</p><p> </p><p><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-time</p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p><p>8 hour day shift Tuesday to Friday,</p><p>Saturday 6 hour shift (preferred)</p><p><strong>Work Location:</strong> One location in Lakefield, Ontario</p></div><h3>Company Description</h3><div>Classy Chassis & Cycles is a growing company and the Kawartha Regions only Motorcycle (only) Dealership. We have a full parts, accessories and service department that services over 1,000 Motorcycles a year.<br/><br/>Established in 2006 Classy Chassis & Cycles is a family run dealership that has a reputation for putting our customers first, and we empower our staff to make sure that statement is a way of life and not just lip service.<br/><br/>Our Service Department is state of the art, our motorcycle showroom has an old school friendly feel and our property hosts many motorcycle events with live music with an on-site food truck. <br/><br/>We are looking for a team member with a passion for numbers and motorcycles. Someone with an accounting and/or bookkeeping background to oversee all aspects of financial, accounting and human resource activities.
