Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Dusty. Tasks: Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered. Prepare flooring plans and scheduling. Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors. Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings. Prepare and install hardwood floors. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Prepare floors for installations. Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants. Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces. Installation specialization: Vinyl or resilient tiles. Hardwood strip flooring. Hardwood intricate patterns flooring. Carpets/rugs. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Team player. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.- LocationMaple Ridge, BC
