Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Clay, glass and stone processing plant. Tasks: Transport raw materials, finished products and scrap materials through the plant. Feed conveyors, crushers and other equipment. Open valves and start pumps. Perform other activities to assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Load and unload vehicles using forklift or dolly. Equipment and machinery experience: Forklift. Powered lifting equipment. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Safety glasses/goggles. Gloves. Mask. Personal suitability: Dependability. Flexibility. Judgement. Team player.
