L.P.N. (licensed practical nurse)

Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Administer medications. Conduct specimen collection. Ensure infection control. Monitor nutritional intake. Observe and record medication's therapeutic and side effects . Record medication's therapeutic and side effects observations in patient files. Take vital signs. Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families. Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures. Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of healthcare team. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work. Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination. CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Immunization records. Tuberculosis test. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Personal suitability: Accurate. Client focus.
