Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: At heights. Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Construction. Various locations. Renovation. Commercial. Tasks: Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Supervision: 3-4 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Carpenter Trade Certification. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Large workload. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Personal suitability: Accurate. Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Reliability.
