Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Prepare production and other reports. Train or arrange for training. Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Manage own company. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Set up machines and equipment. Supervise workers and projects. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units.
