Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Operate heavy equipment. Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Understand the purpose, proper usgage and information found on material safety data sheets (MSDS). Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Secure special attachments to equipment. Type of heavy equipment operated: Backhoe excavator, loader. Caterpillar (CAT) controls. John Deere controls. Grader. Loader. Compactor. Operate forklift. Front end loader. Dump truck. Gravel or dump truck. Bobcats. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
