Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Pet grooming shop. Tasks: Bathe and shampoo animals. Clip animal coat. Style animal coat. Clean animal ears. Provide flea bath treatments to animals. Clip animal nails. Perform expert clipping on show animals with tools including clippers, shears and massage sponges. Perform dental cleaning on domestic animals. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Physically demanding. Fast-paced environment. Standing for extended periods.
