Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities. Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment. Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort. Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse. Weigh, lift, turn and position patients. Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments. Supervise patients' exercise routines. Maintain inventory of supplies. Schedule and confirm appointments. Clean and dress wounds. Clean and maintain equipment. Assist health care professionals. Process files and paperwork. MS Office. Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Word.
