Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming. Outdoors. Wet/damp. Dusty. Noisy. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Clear fields of wood and stones. Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.. Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Weeding. Fertilize and spray crops. Harvest crops. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Cut horticultural crops. Follow sustainable soy farming practices such as crop rotation, reduced-till or no-till, water and nutrient management, precision farming technology and cover crops. Type of crops: Apples. Asparagus.
