RESPONSIBILITIES: · Warmly welcomes Hotel guests and clients; ready and prepared to respond as required; anticipating guest needs, acknowledging Marriott Bonvoy/loyal guests with personalization, attention to detail and ?Wonderful Hospitality. Always.? · Supply guests with directions, information, local recommendations, luggage assistance including luggage storage/retrieval, arrange transportation, maintenance of guest carts, porterage services and provide other relative guest service requests as required · Process all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments and room changes · Activate/reissue room keys with diligence and safety/security top of mind · Verify and adjust billing for guests, securing all necessary payments as required · Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room status · Operate telephone switchboard station when required · Run and check daily reports, contingency lists and credit card authorization reports · Answer and process all guest calls, questions and concerns; follow up to ensure each has been met/exceeded to guests? satisfaction · Partners with all associates and departments to ensure the overall guest satisfaction according to the Marriott Brand Standards are consistently and efficiently delivered from pre-arrival to post arrival as required · Supports the night audit team with relief shifts and other tasks as required · Other tasks as assigned by manager QUALIFICATIONS: · Experience working in a hotel front office for one year preferred *· *_*Flexible availability to work any shift; day, evenings, \*overnight-graveyard, weekends, stat holidays without restrictions*_ · Must have good interpersonal skills and professional etiquette · Good communication skills; written and spoken English required · Outstanding team player, able to support all colleagues · Great initiative and a demonstrated ability to manage complex situations and assume responsibility to problem solve and make effective decisions independently · Technical skills should include experience in MS Word, Excel and other related Hotel Systems (ie.
