*Job Overview* The Busser/Dishwasher plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient dining environment. This position supports both the front and back of house by resetting tables quickly, assisting servers, and ensuring a steady supply of clean dishes and utensils. The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, and able to keep up with fast-paced breakfast rushes. *Key ResponsibilitiesBusser Duties* * Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently. * Ensure tables are properly set according to Pur & Simple standards (cutlery, napkins, condiments, etc.). * Assist servers by delivering water, coffee refills, or additional items when needed. * Keep dining room, drink stations, and service areas clean and well stocked. * Maintain cleanliness of front-of-house areas including floors, counters, and high-touch surfaces. * Assist with guest requests when appropriate and provide friendly, attentive service. *Dishwasher Duties* * Operate commercial dishwasher safely and efficiently. * Wash dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, and pans according to sanitation standards. * Properly sort, dry, and store clean items in their designated areas. * Maintain cleanliness of dish pit, including sinks, floors, and equipment. * Take out garbage and recycling as needed, following restaurant procedures. * Ensure steady availability of clean dishes during busy service periods. *Cleanliness & Safety* * Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines. * Use cleaning chemicals safely and report any equipment issues immediately. * Participate in daily and weekly cleaning tasks for both front and back of house. *Teamwork & Communication* * Work closely with servers, line cooks, and managers to support fast and efficient service. * Communicate when supplies or dishware are running low. * Assist with additional duties during peak times to support overall restaurant operations. *Qualifications & Skills* * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during breakfast rush hours. * Strong work ethic and attention to detail. * Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays. * No prior experience required?training provided.
