Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Dusty. Noisy. Odours. Tasks: Estimate repair cost based on damage examination report. Inspect repaired vehicles. Plan repair work to be performed. Test drive vehicles for proper handling. File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired. Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place. Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams. Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment. Apprenticeship training: Level one apprenticeship training. Level two apprenticeship training.
