*What You?ll Be Working On* As part of our fabrication team, you?ll be involved in building and assembling industrial equipment and custom components including: * Logging truck outfitting * Hydraulic log loader systems * Dump boxes and trailers * Heavy-duty custom fabrication projects This role requires someone who can interpret fabrication drawings, complete quality welds, and work safely and efficiently both independently and with a team. *Key Responsibilities* * Fabricate and weld industrial components and equipment * Prepare materials and assemblies for production * Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints * Maintain quality standards throughout fabrication and assembly * Support ongoing shop efficiency and workflow improvements * Follow all workplace safety procedures and policies * Assist with additional fabrication tasks as needed *Preferred Experience & Skills* * Experience with FCAW and GMAW welding processes * Aluminum welding experience considered an asset * Ability to work with TIG or push-pull systems is beneficial * Strong understanding of fabrication shop practices * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs * Strong communication skills in English * Positive attitude and ability to work well with others * Reliable transportation * Legally authorized to work in Canada Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking Experience: * Welding: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- Location Chemainus, BC
