Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming. Hot. Work setting: Rural area. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Cut agricultural crops. Direct agricultural crops deleafing activities. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Greenhouse cleaning. Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions. Harvest seedlings. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Mixing fertilizer. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts. Tie and secure plants. Weeding. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Maintain financial and production records. Negotiate with clients for provision of services. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Maintain work records and logs. Hire and train staff. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Perform general farm duties. Cut horticultural crops. Supervision: More than 20 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Pesticide Applicator's Licence. Type of crops: Tomatoes.
