This role is vital in ensuring the optimal performance of our fleet and customer vehicles, supporting our mission to deliver reliable automotive solutions. *Responsibilities* * Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines and heavy equipment. * Use hand tools, power tools, and schematics to troubleshoot mechanical issues. * Conduct inspections on trucks, excavators, forklifts, and other industrial machinery. * Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with safety standards. * Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and customer satisfaction. * Assist in training junior technicians when needed. * Support the dealership?s commitment to quality service by staying updated on industry best practices. *Qualifications* * *Must have an Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician License (required)* * Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role within an automotive or heavy machinery dealership. * Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and heavy equipment. * Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics. * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. *Why Niagara Motors?* At Niagara Motors, we value our team as much as our customers.
