The Royal Canadian Mounted Police Communications Technology Program (COMTECH) in Alberta is seeking talented candidates with a proven ability to support a wide range of information technology (IT) and electronics and communications infrastructure and equipment.The units within COMTECH provide life-cycle management and field support for Alberta First Responders Radio Communication System user equipment, support for vehicular-based equipment such as mobile work stations, in-car video systems and cellular phones and data modems, technical support for two operational communication (9-1-1) centers and their municipal counterparts, and operational support for the Critical Incident Program.These positions are situated in a law enforcement environment, which includes regular contact with uniformed and armed police officers.- LocationVarious locationsCalgary, , ABEdmonton, , ABLethbridge, , ABPeace River, , ABRed Deer, , ABSt. Paul, , AB
