Perform during your interview
To succeed in a job interview, you need to prepare in advance. Start by researching the company you are applying for. Think of questions that interviewers could ask you and prepare answers based on examples of your work experience or education. Your answers should demonstrate the skills and knowledge you have, to help employers assess if you are the right fit for the job. The STAR (situation, task, action, result) method can help you structure your examples.
To feel more confident, practice the interview with friends and family. On the day of the interview, be sure to have copies of your resume and a list of references with you. You should also dress appropriately to make a good impression.
