Our Intermediate Program was launched in 2017 and offers both English and French Immersion programs, as well as extra-curricular experiences with teams and clubs. Our students are challenged to reach their full potential and are supported on their learning journey by our dedicated and energetic staff. We emphasize the development of essential knowledge and skills, creative and critical thinking, respect for others, and engagement with the learning process. Ideal candidates will support the fulfillment of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Boards (OCDSB) Strategic Plan to enhance the quality of education in the school, and the District, by creating a positive and inclusive school climate, learning and workplace environment. Candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and respectfully, with a human rights and equity perspective, to foster student success, achievement and well-being. Eligibility List All Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for Long Term Occasional postings for which they are qualified. Qualifications Required OCT Divisional Qualifications: Intermediate<p>Required OCT Additional Qualifications: FSL Part 1 <p>Additional Requirements (experience, knowledge, education,) considered an asset for the Position: N/A <p>Additional Information: Merivale is an early start 7-12 school.
