By sustaining growth and opportunities for Saskatchewan people, we are ensuring our economy is productive and competitive on the world stage. <p>English Language Arts 10 and 20 SaskDLC <p>The Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre requires three continuing, English Language Arts Grade 10 and 11 Teachers that can be located at the following campus locations: North East Campus (Nipawin), North Central Campus (Prince Albert), North West Campus (Neilburg), West Central Campus (Kenaston), East Central Campus (Yorkton), South Central Campus (Moose Jaw), or South East Campus (Estevan). This posting will remain open until suitable candidates are selected. The position will commence on August 24th, 2023.<p>The teaching assignment will include Grade 10 and 11 Core Curriculum Writing, Reading, Speaking, Listening, Representing, and Viewing.<p>The Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre is a newly formed Treasury Board Crown Corporation in Saskatchewan, created to deliver high quality and equitable online learning programs to students across the province. The SDLC head office is located in Kenaston, with an administrative office in Regina, and nine regional campuses located in Swift Current, Moose Jaw, Estevan, Yorkton, Saskatoon, Nipawin, Prince Albert, Neilburg and La Ronge. The SDLC will deliver online programming to approximately 2100 full time online students and approximately 8000 part-time students attending schools across the province.<p>Experience in secondary English Language Arts curriculum, online teaching or online program supervision would be considered an asset. At the Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre, we are committed to providing students with a quality online educational experience; an integral part of that being meaningful student and parent interactions. As an online instructor, you will work with students in an online environment and will in most cases, be the primary point of contact for our learners.
