Install electromechanical, analog and digital trunking systems, circuits and equipment in telecommunications central offices and switching centres. Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures. Connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets. Inspect, test and repair cable signals and associated equipment. Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers and amplifiers. Computer and technology knowledge: Computerized testing system. Telecommunication system.
