Education: Master's degree. Tasks: Interview client individually, in families, or in groups, to assess their situation and problems to determine the types of services required . Provide counsel and therapy to help clients resolve social and personal problems. Plan programs of assistance for clients. Serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team of professionals working with a client group. Provide mediation services and psychosocial assessments.
