Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Manage staff and assign duties. Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales. Determine merchandise and services to be sold. Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale. Develop and implement marketing strategies. Determine staffing requirements. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations. Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers. Supervise office and volunteer staff. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .
