Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Instruct apprentices. Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools. Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs. Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials. Supervise other workers. Estimate costs and materials. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Insulator Red Seal Certificate. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Support for persons with disabilities: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities . Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities. Applies accessible and inclusive recruitment policies that accommodate persons with disabilities . Support for newcomers and refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees. Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) .
