Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Establish and implement operational procedures for housekeeping department. Plan and co-ordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews. Co-ordinate inspection of assigned areas. Supervise staff. Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met. Supervise maintenance and repair services. Co-ordinate in-house laundry services. Hire and dismiss staff. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees. Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment. Support for Indigenous people: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people. Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .
