Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Conduct sampling and analysis using chromatography techniques. Maintain laboratory equipment. Operate laboratory apparatus. Set up chemical experiments, tests and analyses. Assist in set up and conduction of chemical experiments. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards . Assist in the development of chemical engineering processes, studies of chemical engineering procurement, construction, inspection and maintenance. Develop and conduct programs of sampling and analysis. Conduct safety training programs. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Accurate. Organized. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.- LocationVictoria, BC
