Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged. Tasks: Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities. Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort. Perform other duties related to personal care. Supply and empty bed pans. Serve meal trays and feed patients. Weigh, lift, turn and position patients. Make beds and maintain patients' rooms. Bathe, dress and groom patients. Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher. Answer call signals to determine patients' needs. Accompany patients on outside recreational activities and perform other duties related to patient care and comfort. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate. First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check.
