Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Tasks: Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment. Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures. Connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets. Inspect, test and repair cable signals and associated equipment. Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access. Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers and amplifiers. Splice, join and connect wires. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail.
