Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Urban area. Medical clinic. Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Pharmacy or drugstore. Tasks: Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate. Enter client information in databases. Help pharmacists. Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products. Maintain prescription records . Prepare medications for clients. Set up and dismantle equipment. Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products. Bill third party insurers. Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams. Order supplies and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Schedule and confirm appointments. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Pharmacy technician Certification. Computer and technology knowledge: Kroll Software. MS Excel. MS Office. MS Outlook. MS PowerPoint. MS Windows.
