Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Dusty. Work setting: Commercial. Residential. Rural area. Tasks: Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered. Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding. Prepare flooring plans and scheduling. Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors. Prepare tenders and quotations. Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings. Prepare and install hardwood floors. Conduct moisture, ph, temperature and other tests prior to flooring installations. Estimate costs and materials. Prepare floors for installations. Install materials on counter tops and raised platforms. Install vinyl decking materials. Transportation/travel information: Vehicle supplied by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Experience: Will train.- LocationBrampton, ON
