Education: College/CEGEP. Work setting: Hospital or home for the aged. Tasks: Address and document symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families. Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician. Provide nursing care. Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff. Supervision: More than 20 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. Area of specialization: Geriatrics. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Work under pressure.
