Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: All weather conditions. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs. Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment. Perform safety and security checks. Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas. Participate in field checks and verification. Assist skilled tradespersons. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports. Ensure safety procedures are followed. Discuss work with supervisor. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure.
