Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Dental practice. Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Tasks: Prepare patients for dental examinations. Maintain and order supplies. Perform reception and clerical duties. Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment. Educate patients concerning oral hygiene. Record dental procedures performed on patients. Invoice patients for dental services. Polish and buff dentures. Take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts. Technical expertise (dental): Plastering. Packing. Waxing-up. Casting. Polishing. Assembly. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS PowerPoint. MS Word. Equipment, eystems and controls experience: Medical and biomedical equipment and systems. Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge.
