Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Dry pea and bean farming. Livestock combination farming. Oilseed (except soybean) farming. Other grain farming. Other miscellaneous crop farming. Dusty. Noisy. Outdoors. Grain, oil and forage crop. Livestock. Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Develop specific plans to prioritize. Follow sustainable soy farming practices such as crop rotation, reduced-till or no-till, water and nutrient management, precision farming technology and cover crops. Handling animals. Mixing fertilizer. Treat livestock health issues. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Perform general farm duties. Supervisory Experience. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Equipment and machinery experience: Feeding and watering system. Fertilizer applicator. Harvesters. Seed drill. Sprayer or duster. Tractor. Forklift. Agriculture production machineries. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Large workload.
