This role involves conducting inspections, verifying product certifications, and identifying nonconforming materials to maintain the highest quality standards within the organization.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform dimensional and visual inspections of incoming, in-process, and final products per standard inspection plans.</li><li>Verify product certifications, including mill test reports, material test reports, certificates of compliance, NDE reports, and heat treatment reports.</li><li>Identify nonconforming products, generate nonconformance reports, and submit them to the QA Manager for disposition.</li><li>Ensure inspection and test equipment is properly maintained and used according to procedures.</li><li>Maintain Inspection gages and equipment calibrations, update calibration status records.</li><li>Document inspection findings, scan quality records, and maintain accurate traceability of products.</li><li>Work closely with purchasing, order desk, and warehouse teams to ensure quality control measures are followed.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications & Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 5<strong> years</strong> of experience in quality control within a <strong>mechanical component manufacturing environment</strong>. With Technical college Diploma (minimum)</li><li>Certification as a <strong>machinist</strong> is considered an asset.</li><li>Strong knowledge of <strong>measuring equipment</strong> and ability to interpret technical drawings and control plans. Interpretation of <strong>Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)</strong></li><li>Experience with <strong>Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)</strong> using MCOSMOS or PC-DMIS software is an advantage.</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>ferrous & non-ferrous materials, engineering plastics, and basic knowledge of various manufacturing processes</strong> (machining, welding, casting, forging, molding, extrusion, etc.).</li><li>Strong proficiency in <strong>Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)</strong>.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal <strong>communication skills</strong>, report product quality related issues with internal teams.</li><li>Detail-oriented, analytical thinker with the ability to multitask and work independently.</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p><ul><li>Work is primarily conducted in a <strong>temperature-controlled quality lab (20°ree;-21°ree;C)</strong>.</li></ul><p><strong>Employment Type:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Full-time, on premises.</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Ideal Candidate Profile:</strong></p><ul><li>Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong understanding of quality assurance principles.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.</li><li>Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams</li><li>A customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.</li></ul><p> </p></div>Company Description<div>About Process Products International Ltd.
