We are in need of the following: Dump Truck Driver (AZ/DZ / Triaxle). If you're a Driver with experience looking for a great opportunity to join our organization, please apply and let's chat. Regular daily duties include: Drive a dump truck for regional short haul trips . Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, receive and relay information to our dispatch using various forms of communication. Keep records including driver logbook, bill of lading, inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) Work on commercial jobsites, all seasons. Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials to and from job sites. - Load and unload materials using the dump truck's hydraulic system - Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads - Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the dump truck to ensure it is in proper working condition - Report any mechanical issues or accidents to the supervisor immediately - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation. Requirements: * AZ or DZ License, for a minimum of 3 years to be approved by insurance carriers. * Clear Driver's abstract * Team player, excellent written communication, reliability, organizational skills, excellent oral communication, courtesy and professionalism. * Must provide your own reliable transportation to and from the trucking base in South Ottawa, Mitch Owens and Ramsayville rd. Skills: - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating a dump truck - Proven experience as a dump truck driver. - Knowledge of basic automotive maintenance procedures. - Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Dump truck driving: 3 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Class 1 Licence (required) Work Location: In person
