Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Construction. Various locations. Commercial. Tasks: Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Supervise other workers. Supervision: 3-4 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Handling heavy loads. Large workload. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Work with minimal supervision. Personal suitability: Team player. Punctuality.
