We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various equipment and machinery. The Repair Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively.
*Duties*
As a Generator Repairer, you'll be responsible for:
* Testing and troubleshooting generators, transformers, motors, switchgear, and other equipment
* On-site repairs and servicing
* Reading blueprints and assessing electrical/mechanical performance
* Replacing/reconditioning parts such as shafts, bearings, commutators, and wiring
* Ensuring equipment operates to spec after repairs
*Requirements*
* Certificate/diploma in a related trade OR equivalent experience
* 1?2 years of relevant experience
* Must be comfortable with regular travel and on-site service work
* Strong mechanical and electrical repair skills
* Specializations Preferred In:
* Generators
* Industrial Motors
* Electric Motors
* Transformers
* Switchgear & Switches
